1. Booking & Payment Terms
1.1 Deposits: To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit amount is typically 20% of the total trip cost... 1.2 Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the expedition start date... 1.3 Accepted Payment Methods: Payments can be made via credit card, bank transfer... 1.4 Failure to Pay: If the final payment is not received by the deadline, Great Goat Expeditions reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
2. Refund & Cancellation Policy
2.1 Deposits: Once paid, the client is not eligible for a refund... 2.2 Cancellation More Than 120 Days: Full refund minus deposit... 2.3 More Than 60 Days: Partial refund of 50%... 2.4 More Than 30 Days: Partial refund of 25%... 2.5 Less Than 30 Days: Not eligible for refund... 2.6 Transfer Policy: Booking may be transferred with at least 30 days' notice... 2.7 Postponement Policy: Clients may opt for a credit toward a future expedition.
3. Itinerary & Changes
3.1 Flexibility Clause: We reserve the right to alter itineraries due to weather/safety... 3.2 Minimum Group Size: Trips require a minimum number of participants.
4. Health & Fitness Requirements
4.1 Physical Fitness: Participants must be in good physical condition. Average hiking 5-7 hours/day... 4.2 Medical Conditions: Must disclose medical conditions... 4.3 Vaccination: Client responsibility for health requirements.
5. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is mandatory and must cover hiking up to 4,000 meters (or 5,500m for certain trips). Proof must be provided 15 days prior.
6. Liability & Assumption of Risk
6.1 Acknowledgment of Risks: Acknowledgment of weather/altitude risks... 6.2 Liability Waiver: Not responsible for injuries or disruptions... 6.3 Third-Party: Not liable for external service providers.
7. Equipment & Gear
7.1 Provided: Tents, cooking equipment... 7.2 Personal: Sleeping bags, mattresses, etc... 7.3 Rental: Available upon request.
8. Behavior & Code of Conduct
8.1 Respect: Respect local cultures... 8.2 Substances: Prohibited substances... 8.3 Dismissal: Disruptive behavior results in dismissal without refund.
9. Force Majeure
Disruption due to natural disasters/unforeseen events may result in rescheduling or partial refunds.
10. Photography & Media Consent
10.1 Use of Photos: May use photos for promotion... 10.2 Opt-Out: Notify in writing before expedition.
