2.1 Deposits: Once paid, the client is not eligible for a refund of the total value of the deposit. In the circumstance where Great Goat Expeditions cancels a trip for any reason, the client is eligible for a full refund of the deposit or can transfer it as credit to another trip.
2.2 Cancellation More Than 120 Days Before Expedition Start Date: If the client decides to cancel the trip with more than 120 days' notice, a full refund will be issued minus the deposit value.
2.3 Cancellation More Than 60 Days Before Expedition Start Date: If the client decides to cancel the trip with more than 60 days' notice, a partial refund of 50% of the total trip cost, excluding the deposit, will be issued.
Example: If a client books a trip valued at $3,000 and the deposit totals $500, then a refund equivalent to 50% of $2,500 ($3,000 - $500) will be issued. Total Refund: $1,250.
2.4 Cancellation More Than 30 Days Before Expedition Start Date: If the client decides to cancel the trip with more than 30 days' notice, a partial refund of 25% of the total trip cost, excluding the deposit, will be issued.
Example: If a client books a trip valued at $3,000 and the deposit totals $500, then a refund equivalent to 25% of $2,500 ($3,000 - $500) will be issued. Total Refund: $625.
2.5 Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before Expedition Start Date: If a client decides to cancel the trip with less than 30 days' notice, they are not eligible for a refund.
2.6 Transfer Policy: Clients may transfer their booking to another person with at least 30 days' notice and approval from Great Goat Expeditions.
2.7 Postponement Policy: If a trip is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, clients may opt for a credit toward a future expedition.
